2D-1N Mount Rinjani Summit: Rinjani trekking 2 days 1 night to summit of Mount Rinjani 3726
meters above sea level starts from Sembalun and finish in sembalun.
Itinerary:
Arrival day: from Lombok airport or another location in Lombok to Sembalun (2–3 hours by car).
We will pick you up on Lombok Island, drop you off in Sembalun, check you in at the hotel, and if you have any enough time, we will guide you to visit Bukit Selong, a traditional house in Sembalun village. Return to the hotel to meet your guide, where we can provide you with a detailed overview of our trip.
Day 1: Sembalun to Summit campsite or Plawangan Sembalun (5–8 hours walk)
After having breakfast at the hotel, we will walk to the Rinjani National Park office to register and start trekking from Rinjani to Hiber Rimbalun (a normal walk) in about 7 hours. After 2 hours of hiking, We will stop at Post 1 Pemantauan and have a break. We will serve you tea and some biscuits, thenWe will continue to Post 2 (approximately 1 hour), and from Post 2 until Post 3, it will take 2 hours. At Post 3, we will rest for 1 hour and have lunch there, then continue hiking up to the crater rim for 3 hours while enjoying beautiful scenery during the hike. Once we reach the crater rim, we will serve you a dinner. We will stay overnight here.
Day 2: Camping at Summit Sembalun—Transfer to your next destination
At 3 a.m., after drinking coffee or tea with some toast, we will start trekking to the Mount Rinjani summit. with a guide for 3 hours. Once we reach the peak, we will give you time to enjoy the view. We will provide some fruit, biscuits, and hot coffee or tea. After that, we will start trekking down to the crater rim. which will take approximately 1–1.5 hours. Once we reach the crater rim, it's time to rest and have breakfast before continuing our hike down to Sembalun. We will stop at Post 2: take a rest and have lunch there, then continue back to Sembalun. Once we reached Sembalun, we will drive you safely to your next destination on Lombok Island by car.
Trekking Price Include:
- Licensed, experienced mountain guide and local porters.
- One-night hotel accommodation in Sembalun before the trek.
- Comprehensive camping gear including tents, sleeping bags, mattresses, pillows, cooking equipment, and a toilet tent.
- Three meals a day with a hot drink, 2 large bottles of mineral water + unlimited boiled water, soft drinks, and fresh fruit.
- Entrance fee to Gunung Rinjani National Park: 400,000 IDR per person.
- Transportation covers pick-up from Kuta Lombok, the airport, Mataram, Senggigi, and Bangsal to Sembalun, including the return journey.
